This tutorial shows how to use Flight Data Manager in eMotion to geotag images flown with the eBee.
Overview
The Flight Data Manager is a built-in tool in eMotion that processes your flight data and embeds GPS coordinates into your aerial imagery.
Steps to Geotag Images
- Open eMotion and connect to your flight data
- Navigate to Flight Data Manager from the main menu
- Select your flight from the list of recorded flights
- Choose your images to be geotagged
- Run the geotagging process to embed coordinates
- Export your geotagged images for use in photogrammetry software
Output
After geotagging, your images will contain EXIF data with:
- Latitude and longitude coordinates
- Altitude information
- Camera orientation data
- Timestamp information
